Aztec Gold Chia Seeds
Chia seeds are native
to South America and dates back to the time of Aztecs and Mayans. The Aztecs
and Mayans consumed chia seeds on a daily basis because they were plentiful and
a good sustain of energy.
I HIGHLY recommend growing your chia seeds. All you need is pinch of chia seeds. If you have a backyard that's ideal. If you don't, just simply plant the seeds in a cup or something bigger. I put about 6 seeds in a glass jar. After about two weeks three of the seeds are sprouting and they are adorable. I water them every other day. They are not hard to grow at all. Chia seeds are not too picky but definitely thrives better in warm weather.

Many Americans lack
fibers, calcium, magnesium, etc. Chia seed is a considered a super food because
it provides so many nutrients that our body needs. What is so good about chia
seeds is that they contain protein. Chia seed may become an important essential
in vegan diets. In fact, with all the dangerous chemicals in our meet
(especially in the US), chia seeds can replace the protein in meat. Chia seed is also great for weigh loss because
they give you a boost of energy without the corn syrup, sugar, caffeine and
other stuff that our body cannot digest.
Chia seeds can be used
in all kind of cooking, from drinking to cooking and baking.
I sprinkle chia seeds
in my drinks and let them sit overnight so that they can absorb all the liquid
and become a jelly like texture. You can make chia seed pudding as well. You
can add fruits, oatmeal, berries, etc. They are delicious and very healthy.
