Bamboo Matcha Spoon and Whisk Set
Essential kit for matcha. The kit
comes with a matcha spoon called chashaku spoon. The whisk is called a chasen.
Both of the spoon and whisk are made of bamboo.
The kit is not just made for tea
ceremony but for everyday matcha as well. When I made matcha with just my
spoon, the tea did not taste as smooth because of the crumbs. By using the
chasen, it smooths out all the crumbs on the bottom.
The chashaku spoon is perfect for
measuring the amount of matcha. You only need 2 full scoop of matcha with the
spoon. Equivalent to a teaspoon.
