Spa Home Facial Steamer Sauna

This facial steamer set comes with a bottle of eucalyptus oil. First thing I noticed when I received the package was the intense aroma of the oil.

 

Inside was 3 pieces of the facial steamer. Easy to put together and store.

The material of the facial steamer seems to be plastic. It’s not very durable but serves its purpose.

There is a little cup to pour the water into the facial steamer. There is a max line which the manual clearly instruct not to overfill. It takes a couple minutes for the steam to appear. Before you start the facial sauna, make sure your face is well exposed. I tied up my hair so that it doesn’t get in the way.

About 1-2 drops of eucalyptus oil is strong enough. Too much can be intense or even painful for the nose.

After use I feel my skin feeling softer and more hydrated. About a week after repeated use I noticed smaller pores.

When the PH meter came and I opened it, I noticed right away that it was a used one. There are scratches and air bubbles on the screen. The reading was not very stable when I first tried it. I read the instruction and calibrated the meter. The reading can take 5-10 seconds to become stable. The tap water is around PH level of 5-6 from PH strip reading. I tested with the meter and it reads 6.41 which is relatively close to what I should get. Keep in mind we really shouldn’t be consuming acidic water OR tap water.

FYI: Cancer cells thrive in acidic environment.

The meter is easy to use and operate. There are two buttons; on/off and calibration. To measure the ph level of water you simply dip the tip of the meter in the water and wait until the measurement is stable. Sometimes when the electrode dies out from due to prolonged exposure to air, which can lead to slow or unstable reading. The electrode should be immerse into distilled water for 2-3 hours to fix this problem.

After finish using the meter, the cap should be placed back to reduce the electrode from exposure to air.

PH meter measures acidity and alkaline level in liquid.  PH level of tap water is 6.4 which is considered acidic.

Pour Over Coffee Maker

The filter of this pour over coffee maker is very fine. I really like this feature because I can only make tea with it. The mesh is very fine so that small particle or residue doesn't get into the drink.

I tested the tea leaves and the filter works great. Little to no residue on the bottom of the drink.
It's a pretty large size and light weigh. Overall easy to wash. I soak it in a big bowl of lukewarm water and gently rub out the remaining residue.
For coffee this is perfect but for tea it may require some extra work. Since the tea leaves actually need to be soaked more. You might find yourself pouring a couple times.
I also find this filter great for preparing matcha (green tea powder) if you don't have a matcha whisk (chasen).

Tibetan Meditation Bowl - Hand Painted.

This singing bowl is almost perfect for meditation or simply eases away your stress.

I think that everyone who is new at this should research how to use it first. I did that and I will share what I learned.

The bowl is neither too heavy nor too light. The design is catchy but it hinders the efficiency of the bowl because when you move the wooden hammer along the edge, you can feel the painting on the bowl. The sound is not very smooth due to the painting.

To hold the bowl correct, open the palm of the hand that you will be holding the bowl with. The palm should be finger closed and straight so that only the bowl touches the palm in the center. Gently move the hammer along the edge of the bowl with consistency to create a soothing ringing.

The downside is the painting on the bowl because after using it a couple minutes my hand looked as if I have been reading the newspaper for a couple hours. The painting does come off and sticks to my hand. Washing may cause more mess.

I sleep on my tummy a lot and this pillow make my sleeping experience so comfortable. I know people always say that sleeping on your stomach is not good. But if it feels good it probably good.

The pillow I use before this low profile pillow was a bit too high and cause neck sores a couple times.

Before I even opened the package I could tell it is my eye mask in there. The box reek of lavender.

I do like the color blue because it suits lavender. It is a good combination because blue is a calming color and lavender has a soothing aroma.
The eye mask feels very silky and smooth and great for sensitive skin. I do want to call it eye pillow o.o Hmm..

I feel that the eye mask is better suited for a cold treatment than a warm treatment. I feel microwaving it kind of weird.. It does give a warm feeling but the lavender aroma is just unbearable. Perhaps for other parts of the body than the eyes. I do like freezing the eye mask more because the scent is less stronger and it's nice for any bruises or a hot day. Too bad you can't wash this ;(

The box came with an instruction on how to use this tool. It's not hard. You plug in the head of your choice and get down to work.

First you need to apply the argan oil they provided. You can use whatever oil you have too. I have rose hip oil which is my preference so I used that.
First when I plug in the power then place the piece of my choice. Two of the wands I have to point out because they are on high all the time. There is a button that you can control and turn from low-high setting but not the case for the nose and the comb piece. The moment I turned to low they went on high power which cause them to buzz pretty loud. The first time it touched my skin it gave me a shock! I was afraid to use the two pieces but the smaller one didn't have this problem.
I turned on the low frequency but I hardly felt anything so I turned the power to medium. I can feel a little buzzing but nothing painful.
Also, NEVER leave the wand on the skin without moving. Do not just leave it there for more than a couple seconds as recommended.
This lift wand is will tingle the skin and help blood flow.
After a couple days of using this wand I noticed that I have a nice glow after the treatment. Perhaps it's the oil. I did like the massage however.

I thought the kit was cute and I am really fond of the solar system and stars.

I didn't like the lollipops for some reason as it taste sweet but also unpleasant at the same time. Kids probably won't mind.
The telescope is made of plastic and not very good quality but this is only a toy so it's an exception. It is quite fun scoping.
My favorite part is the pack of glow in the dark stars and planets. I think they are really fun to watch at night. I never had something like these as I kid but I do enjoy them as an adult and I'm sure any kid would.

The light is not super bright so you can use it on the wall when you're reading but it's not exactly meant for that.

The spring part is adjustable so you can bend the light bulb. When the light bulb is sitting straight up, the outlet falls off the wall. I think it's a bit loose but if I bend the spring a right angle it's fine.
